USFloors began as a small flooring company that was run in the spare bedroom of President and CEO, Piet Dossche. Since its founding in 2001, USFloors has become known in the flooring industry for its innovative products as the leading supplier of Unique and Sustainable Floors. A brief timeline of USFloors history is below.
With the opening of it’s manufacturing facility in Dalton, GA in the Fall of 2008, USFloors became the ONLY supplier of cork and bamboo flooring with manufacturing facilities in the United States. In addition, USFloors will manufacture FSC®-Certified hardwood floors. In order to give customers the best prices, USFloors still imports pre-finished bamboo and hardwood products when necessary. USFloors prefers to utilize milling and finishing lines in the Dalton, GA facility to produce beautiful stains and unique visuals to give retailers and consumers the widest available selection of cork, bamboo, and hardwood floors proudly produced in the USA.
The manufacturing facility incorporates state-of-the-art finishing and profiling lines for plank flooring as well as molding trims and finishes. By becoming a manufacturer, and not just an importer/distributor, USFloors takes control of the production of its flooring from the sourcing of raw materials to final finished product, ensuring the ingredients, quality, and performance of the floor, as well as the chain of custody of the raw materials.
